Our Story

WELCOME

Welcome to St George’s Church, whether you’re a long-standing member or part-time attender, whether you’re born and bred in Everton or are new to area, whether you’re 9 days or 90 years old, whether you consider yourself a Christian or are still searching… whoever you are you are welcome!

St George’s is a church with long history in a diverse and ever-changing community.  Today’s congregation reflects that diversity in terms of age, background and nationality.  Everyone has a different story as to how they ended up here and we love to see new people join in and share with us as we try to live out our vision of Sharing Welcome, Sharing Love, Sharing Worship.

St George’s Everton takes its duty and obligation to protect all extremely seriously. We have adopted the national Church of England’s robust procedures and guidelines. You can find out more about the national policies and procedures at www.churchofengland.org/safeguarding.  If you have any safeguarding concerns or issues on a safeguarding matter then you can find useful contact information at http://www.liverpool.anglican.org/safeguarding
